I am proud to be the steward of this place, which is originally part of Tohono O’odham tribal land & overlooks the #AltarValley & #CasinodelSol, all the way to #Mexico, I believe.
The air is so clear #KittPeak can be seen, 45 miles away. By ‘reforesting up’ to hear few acres in my Taiwan-style, Buddha-lovin’ gardens – my food forest experiment I call #EdenExperiment, there is a noticeable cooling of temps in the dry, record-breakingly hot #Arizona summers, and in winter, I use several ‘tricks’ to keep it warm, warm enough not to freeze those few days a year when #TucsonAZ does that.
I love 💝 and miss my Second Home, Taiwan, l’isla formosa- & now I’ve found business partners, so that I can return to Taiwan more regularly for business at least; as well as pleasure, of course!
Btw, I’m planning editorials for #TheWildEastMagazine condemning #China for trying to bully #Taiwan into so-called “re-unification’; and calling on #Biden administration to #StandbackandStandBy while Taiwan holds #Referendum on Nationalization, or official sovereignty. LET THE PEOPLE DECIDE! For me, personally: #TaiwanIsNotChina #TaiwanIsACountry
Also, I congratulate my friend #TaiwanPresident #TsaiIngwen for her diplomatic but firm rejection of china’s advances. #PepeLepeu comes to mind !!!!😂 China’s acting like a toxic ex-boyfriend ! We need to once and for all, #DumpChina. However, as a nation, let’s stick up for the #Uighurs in #Xinjiang camps; call 🤙#joebiden,202-456-1111, #FreeThePeople! And tell #PresidentBiden to let in #ICC & #UnitedNations #humanrights inspectors to investigate #tRump’s #kidsincages; also I CONDEMN #presidentBiden for turning away #Haitianrefugees, without allowing them to apply for #asylum; THAT is a violation of #internationalhumanrights; I am sure of it.
